Event Description

Learn about the lives of Dido Elizabeth Belle of Kenwood House and Phillis Wheatley; she was the first published African American female poet. Explore some of her poems, have a go at writing your own poems with quill pens and ink and then draw a portrait of Dido or Phillis.

Last entry to session at 3.30pm.

Sessions are delivered by a facilitator

Suitable for children 5-13 years

All children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult and be supervised

No adult admitted without an accompanying child
