I know we all find this disgusting. But do people have evidence of where it is happening and incidents to report? I have raised the matter with the Council's Enforcement Team.

Turns out, we already have a council community toilet scheme (trial), with some locations on the high road. It just needs a bit (a lot) of expansion, and a lot of advertising:

To update: below is the comment I post on the Journal website at about 5pm on Tuesday.
Thanks all. Things have got so bad that police action is required to rein people in. And we need action from Haringey Council too. Nearly a month ago I asked the Council for them to come up with a solution to the peeing problem. This I suggest could include:
Police action to catch people who are peeing in public,
Consideration by Council Officers of how to remove the peeing hot spots. Or, at least increase the deterrence for offenders,
Consideration of a new public convenience. Even if a temporary solution while the behaviour of the offenders is corrected,
Or, even acceptance of the behaviour and moderation of it through the provision of those standing peeing things you find in central London of an evening,
Work with businesses who are affected by peeing - the Post Office side door shutter is corroding because of the peeing on it - and educational work with those businesses who's customers appear to be amongst the offenders.
I am still waiting for the Council to reply.

Thank you James.... I guess Martin just won't discuss this with me on here, on Twitter or on his own blog!! :(

It's a good point about the lack of public toilets (indeed the block on Bruce Grove has been shut for a very long time).

In Richmond, the council runs a scheme with local businesses willing to allow their toilets to be used by the public. I don't know what is in it for the businesses, other than giving something back, but maybe we should be asking for something similar.
